Anther: A pod on top of the stamen stalk
which makes pollen.
Filament: The anther-bearing stalk of a stamen.
Leaf: (Foliage) A lateral growth. Manufactures food through photosynthesis.
Ovary: A pouch at the base of the pistil that develops into a fruit.
Petal: (Carolla) The bright showy part.
Pistil: The female parts.
Sepal: (Calyx) Protects the flower before it opens.
Stamen: The male parts.
Stigma: The top part of the pistil which receives pollen.
Style: The prolongation of the ovary bearing a stigma at its top.
